Follow the Nature Trail these school holidays

Saturday 14 March, 2026

As the April school holidays approach, many families begin looking for ways to keep children curious, active and engaged. Woollahra Library at Kiaora Place has become a much loved destination for local families, and the upcoming school holiday program promises a creative and educational experience inspired by the natural world.

The theme for their upcoming April program is “Follow the Nature Trail”, inviting children to explore nature, insects, plants and the environment through a range of interactive and imaginative activities. The program is designed to spark curiosity while encouraging young minds to think about the world around them in new ways.

Families can expect a mix of hands on experiences and innovative learning opportunities. Activities will include outdoor Spark Truck adventures, which bring science and discovery into an exciting mobile environment, as well as virtual reality insect explorations, allowing children to see the tiny creatures that live around us from a whole new perspective. For those who enjoy creating, there will also be nature inspired craft sessions, including opportunities for kids to build their own bug hotels and learn about the important role insects play in our ecosystems.

These activities are designed to be both fun and educational, encouraging children to explore nature through play and creativity. Visit the Woollahra Library website to find event details, dates and booking information here:
